About The Foundation In 2002, with the help of an anonymous start-up grant, The Montclair Public Library Foundation (MPLF) was established as a 501-C-3, non-profit organization. Its goal is to develop resources that support the purpose and mission of the Montclair Public Library. We work to increase citizen involvement with the Library, increase public relations efforts, and improve donor participation and satisfaction.
