Mary Packer is a fundraising professional with over twenty years of experience in the nonprofit sector.  Drawing on her background in education and the performing arts, she is proud to lead the Montclair Public Library Foundation. She specializes in donor relations, board development, grant writing, and major gifts. Mary holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Hampshire College, a Master’s Degree in Education from Keene State College, and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). Mary is thrilled to be working in support of the Montclair Public Library – a vibrant community center that serves everyone from toddlers to seniors – to promote literacy and lifelong learning, and provide access to resources.

Kelly Farrell Ziek is a development and marketing specialist with twenty years of experience in the non-profit and government sectors. She has strong ties to Essex County, having worked for and with institutions such as the Essex County Parks Department, Human Needs Food Pantry, Montclair Art Museum, Presby Memorial Iris Gardens, and the South Orange-Maplewood Adult School. Kelly joined the Montclair Library Foundation in July of 2022 with the hope of channeling her expertise to help the trajectory of transforming MPL into a state-of-the-art facility. Kelly holds B.A. degrees in both Economics and Psychology from Rutgers University. She lives in Nutley with her husband Paul where they are raising their three children.
